Straight off the bat, this has nothing to do with being celibate! That is a completely different topic. A Celebrant, like myself, is somebody who can give you the wedding ceremony you have always dreamed of. You know the dream… the one where all your guests are smiling and crying happy tears and they’re all looking at you and your husband or wife to be with so much love and affection in their eyes. You can close your eyes and picture it. You can practically feel the excitement and anticipation of your first foot on that aisle.

That type of wedding is only accomplished when your love story shines through every word and every fibre of your ceremony and that ceremony is only achieved when you have a celebrant leading your big day. This is because a Celebrant, like me, will spend weeks, months, sometimes years getting to know you both. I find out how you met, hear all about your dating period, the proposal, all your quirks as individuals and as a couple, what makes you unique, your plans for the future and so much more.

Unlike a registrar, I am not tied to licenced premises or office hours. Although, I often do deliver ceremonies in licensed premises, with me, you can have your wedding ceremony pretty much anywhere and at any time of day. Think outside the box about places that are special to you both. Maybe a beach, a beautiful hotel, a park, your parent’s back garden, in a hot air balloon? If you’re considering a Tipi or a festival wedding or any other outdoor venue than I am your gal.

I also provide a tonne of support along the way and am always contactable ether by phone, email, skype or face to face. If you would like me to, I can help you write your vows, I can suggest readings and poems. I can advise on ways to include some or all of your wedding guests in your ceremony. I really don’t leave any stone unturned as I am so passionate about making sure your day is AMAZING.

At present, you will have to sign the legal documentation seperately at your local registry office. This costs around £125, including your notice of intention to marry fee. When you sign your paperwork, you don’t have to exchange your rings or your vows or wear your beautiful wedding clobber. You save ALL that for your wonderful bespoke ceremony with me. Separating your legal paperwork and your ceremony means you have so much more choice and can have a modern, personalised, loved-up ceremony that is all about you.

Furthermore, I also provide this service for those who are looking to renew their vows. If you are saying “I do” or “I do, take two” then get in touch. Let’s make those wedding day dreams a reality!
